Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or a first-time musher, let our sled dogs lead you on an exciting journey through this picturesque region, making special memories along the way.

Who We Are

Guide and owner, Aaron Campbell, has been mushing for 26 years. He has participated in races from Alaska to Minnesota and everywhere in between with possibly the most unique location, racing on the frozen Beaufort Sea in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT.

Let our race winning dog team take you down the trail. You will feel the power of the team and their passion for running as the quick release is pulled. You will hear the sounds of the runners sliding on the snow and the dogs exhaling. Take in the beautiful winter scenery, sit back and enjoy the ride!

What to Expect

When you arrive at the trailhead of our private trail system you will be able to park in the designated parking spots and will see our musher, and your tour guide, getting the sled dog team ready for your tour. Each of our guided tours will start with an introduction to the sport of mushing, touching on the history, equipment and care/feeding of our dogs. Your guide will also teach you how to harness and hook up the dogs. Your guide will ensure your safety and is always ready to answer any of your questions.

There are a variety of seating arrangements on the dog sled. We will create a “custom fit” for you and your family or group. Depending on your group sizes we may take more than one trip around the trail to provide the best experience for you. If you are not on the trail you have the option to warm up in our heated canvas winter tent or around the outdoor firepit, enjoying the beautiful central Saskatchewan winter outdoors! There is also a portable toilet on site.

Our family had a fantastic experience enjoying Dog Sledding and the outdoor fire pit as well as warming up after with hot chocolate and treats in the tent. Every aspect of the experience was well prepared and we felt a warm welcome and incredibly well cared for from start to finish. Amazing evening on our dogsledding tour with Campbell's Racing Sled Dogs! We were a mixed group of children and adults, and we loved the new experience of riding with the dog team, and learning about how they are cared for, how they race, and the kids even learned how to harness the dogs. There is a warm outfitter's tent with hot drinks to make and a great space for a warm-up and for your gear. We had an excellent time and would recommend Aaron and his family and dog team tours to our community and to classroom groups as well.

I recently took my wife, daughter and pet to Campbell Racing Sled Dog Tours to experience some unique and unforgettable by first time in our lives. It was excellent! Incredible memories on the sleigh pulled by 10 dogs, the adrenaline felt during that hr in motion was high, specially when standing on the 2 edges on the sleigh behind the guide. There was perfect weather, no wind, -17 Celsius degrees. Aaron & Charlene, and Benjamin *(from France) are great hosts for all type of customers, they know well how to treat people with kindness, professionalism, trust and confidence, all very informative and helpful for beginners like us, so we'll be back again, for sure! FELICITACIONES, AMIGOS!

All I can say is WOW!!!! Thanks to Aaron Eldon and Dawson for a great dog sled ride. A friendly crew, great dogs and perfect weather. This was our first experience dogsledding and we’ll do it again. Great time for ages 4-72! Enjoyed Aaron’s knowledge of racing circuit & the dogs,, the kids enjoyed the rides and we all stayed warm & cozy in the canvas tent. Thx for a wonderful time!

This is a great family ran place! So very friendly and informative about the dogs. I would recommend for anyone of all ages to go out and have a ride. If you need 2 sleds there is an open fireplace or a toasty warm tent to relax in while waiting for your ride. Will definitely be doing it again. We had a great time celebrating 2 birthdays with Aaron and his pack of dogs. What a great experience that won’t be forgotten. We appreciated his knowledge and time spent with us. We enjoyed participating harnessing the dogs and getting them setup for the ride. It was nice to see Aaron treat the dogs as his teammates and his family. Thank you so much for the experience.

Loved our experience. The kids enjoyed their time, even though we went in extreme cold conditions. The heated tent was cozy and warm. Aaron was friendly and a great host. I think my favourite part was hearing the dogs getting hyped up to go! We recommend this as a great winter outing for the family.

This was a super cool experience. Aaron was very friendly and great with our kids. It is obvious that he has a lot of experience as he guided the sled easily with our whole family and made us feel very safe. He has a ton of knowledge about dog sledding which made the experience even more interesting as we learnt a bit more about the sport. Definitely recommend as it is one of the most unique experiences in the province.

Our experience was fantastic and included everything from riding on the sled to learning about the dogs and how they are cared for. Had a great time with Campbell's Sled Dogs on an afternoon sled dog ride. We went on an hour ride through the woods and the open field. Aaron has 47 dogs! He let us meet the dogs and let us help hook them up. All the dogs are very friendly. Aaron is a great tour guide and is super easy to talk to. He also has a warm up tent and extra parkas and gear in case someone isn't quite prepared the for the cold properly.

"Not all classrooms have four walls." That right there was a motto we stood for at Gronlid school! Aaron and his dogs came to our school and we learnt sooo much. Then we had the amazing opportunity to go to his trails and again he treated us royally. If you can arrange a day with Campbell’s Racing Sled Dogs .. it will be your “best day ever”, as our students said!
